3 września swój projekt rezydencyjny rozpoczyna Kristian Skylstad (urodzony w 1982 r., w Norwegii) fotograf, kurator, pisarz, krytyk sztuki, artysta wizualny. Od 2009 r., wraz z Stian Gabrielsen, Petter Buhagen i Karen Nikgol, prowadzi galerię NoPlace. Początkowo zainteresowany sztuką konceptualną, zwłaszcza związaną z poezją, rozszerzył swoją twórczość o wątki dokumentalne. W jego działaniach odnajdujemy silnie subiektywne nastawienie, traktowane jako metoda służąca skierowaniu uwagi na szersze diagnozy, dotyczące m.in. estetyki i politycznych przekonań całej generacji.

On 3 September 2013 Kristian Skylstad (b. 1982 in Norway) will begin his residential project. A photographer, curator, writer, art critic, visual artist. Since 2009, together with Stian Gabrielsen, Petter Buhagen and Karen Nikgol he has run the NoPlace gallery in Oslo (noplace.no).

Initially interested in conceptual art, particularly related to poetry, Skylstad has branched out into documentary themes. His activities have a strongly subjective stance, used as a means of attracting attention to a wider analysis of issues such as aesthetics and the political convictions of an  entire generation.
