W swojej twórczości zajmuje się grą konwencji społecznych i subkultur, sytuacjami w których odrzucenie, wykluczenie i odmowa scala się w różne formy chaosu. Rosyjskie karty kredytowe, swetry świąteczne, disneyowski styl życia, napoje energetyczne – te i inne produkty, symbole różnych subkultur określających systemy społeczne porządku, nie tylko służą mu za teoretyczny punkt wyjścia, ale także jako narzędzia artystycznej ekspresji. Prace - opierające się na materiałach video, instalacjach, renderingach 3D, rysunkach, fotografiach i rycinach. Artysta mieszka i pracuje w Berlinie.

The first Icelandic artist inaugurating "A Place Where We Could Go" project is Lars Holdhus.
He graduate of Gerrit Rietveld Academie and The Netherlands and Staatliche Hochshule für Bildende Künst, Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main. His artistic practice engages with social conventions and meets subcultures with a counter gesture, when rejection and refusal merge with different forms of chaos. Russian credit card sites, christmas sweaters, disney lifestyle, energy drinks, and other products of various subcultures determining social systems of order, do not only serve him as a theoretical starting point but also as artistic tools. Video based works, installations, 3d renderings, drawings, photography and prints draw a continuous line through his whole artistic work and are building the tenor of an all-out attitude of nothing. He lives and works in Berlin.
